S.S.Q

1. Your work is often categorized as banal or deadpan, one of your well known images that exemplifies this common description is El Paso Street, El Paso, Texas, July 5, 1975. I wrote a paper about this image and had very specific ideas about what made it compelling and why you might have been drawn to the scene. So I was wondering what it was that drew you to this street and made you photograph this moment?

2. You were one of the first photographers to establish color photography as "fine art," what first made you decide to work in color?
