1.Being someone who is both self taught and who works in a school as an instructor of photography, what in your experience are the benefits of each approach to learning photography?

2.As a professor, how do you incorporate both informal and formal ways of learning photography into your curriculum. Meaning, as someone who grew up learning photography without any formal setting, in your classes, how do you balance the school's requirements and demands and how you see photography as a self learning process.
