brog

here are some examples of different ways to display your work.

can we make these things above?
shot on 5D and printed on roll paper, still looks good up close.
polaroid displays
my work will probably look like this. very standard.
at redbull space

behind the bar may be a good or bad thing since the viewer can't get too close

and some questions for stephen shore...
1. you sold 3 images to edward steichen when you were 14, what were they?
2. who are some up and coming  photographers whose work you like?

  1. are you planning on matting your pics? That doesn't really make sense to me...that is, if you are still sort of referencing the cinematic frame, or moment. The cinema's "matte" is the proscenium, which has a very different function that the photograph's window matte.
    just a thought-

btw, the goddess bunny is pretty extreme!

  3. u bring up a good point. i thought about black matte/letterbox. this may change down the line, but the images will most likely be arranged the same way.

  4. Ten points to Brian for managing to use the word proscenium in a sentence.
